Is it a fast that I have chosen?

Would you call this a fast, and an acceptable day to the Lord? (Isaiah 57:5)

Though, Old testament Fasting brings the compassion of God to Nations and an Individual, But it doesn’t fulfill the Lord’s heart. God’s desiring fast to make the deliverance upon those are bound, suffered, in darkness, and trouble. The way of New Testament, Fasting is strengthening the inner man rather control the flesh to active and analyzing the God’s desires and done His wishes and bind the guile of satan.
Though, Fasting which comes from both old and New Testament path’s excluding the food, A man who takes the effort to gather human beings into the vineyard is the fasting in the sight of God.
